This is a little doodle I did in class today.  It's my little schizophrenic character that I've created.  His name is Sam and has lots of scary little friends living in his head.

I've been working on a stop motion painting over the past few weeks.  For now it's called Alive.  I'm still not sure if I like that title or not, but that's okay.  I've hand painted every frame and I took the pictures myself and with some help from a few lovely friends. It took a long time to make, but it was worth it in the end.  The song is by Animals and is called Baths. It's obviously not mine seeing as I don't make music, I just paint and stuff. So I hope you enjoy.  Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wan2M9cavfo

The end of my section. This one looked awesome on it's own wall.

Sorry for the absence.  I've forgotten about this site.  I'm attempting to figure out a more professional way to display my work.
Here's some of my recent work and things that haven't made it up but were supposed to be on this blog a while ago. (I hope my sentences are making sense.)

A Sketch a Day

Monster sketch
Ink, magic marker, crayon, colored pencils
My sketch for yesterday.  I thought I'd start off simple and re-draw the weird looking monster.

Here are some sketches, models and video stills for a stop motion video I made based on a dream that I used to have frequently.  The sketches are in pen and the models are made with Sculpey clay and wire, the backgrounds are with watercolor and cardboard.

Here is the second installation of my classy zombies.   It was in a show at For Your Art Gallery in LA near LACMA.  I still need to take a better picture of this one, so this is really all I have right now.  Let me know if you want a better image.

Work in Progress

This is the first half of a piece that will be going up in the group show I'll be in.  It's based on apocalyptic imagery.  I'm not entirely sure what this creature is that I've created.  The pattern on the background is all hand painted. I still have to finish the background on the bottom half.  It's acrylic, cel-vinyl, and soon to be gold and silver leaf on canvas.  The entire piece is 8'x4'.  Yes, that's feet.  I use a ladder to paint it which has been great fun.  I've also learned that if I'm going to decide I need to hand paint a pattern as intricate as this, I will either hire help or make sure I'm being paid a lot.

I don't have the location of the show yet, but I will keep that updated as I find out.  It will be on April 28th.

Cool, enjoy my art and just let me know if you have any questions or want to torment me and ask for better quality images.
